Privacy policy

The short version

• Always free for parents. No ads.
• We don’t sell or share your information with advertisers or data brokers.
• No accounts or passwords. Your phone gets a private team link.
• Only people on your team see team info. Private messages are seen only by your family and your coaches.
• You can delete your family’s data from the app anytime.

What we collect

• Family and kids: the family name and kid names you type in (we suggest first name and last initial).
• Team activity: RSVPs (Going / Maybe / Out), snack, drink, ride and score keeper sign-ups, ride requests, and messages to or from your coach.
• Coach info: team name, schedule, places, notes, colors, logo, and money records the coach enters (for example who paid dues).
• Optional email if you add one for reminders.
• Alerts: if you turn on phone alerts, your phone’s alert address for this app.
• A random phone id stored on your phone, so a coach can keep a removed family from rejoining. It is not linked to your name outside the team.

We don’t collect your location, contacts, photos (except a team logo a coach uploads), or payment card numbers.

How we use it

• To run your team: show the schedule, who signed up, rides and messages.
• To send the phone alerts and reminders you turned on.
• To keep the service safe and working (for example, limiting spam sign-ups).

Who we share it with

• Your team: families on your team see family and kid names, the schedule and who signed up for what. Emails are not shown to other families.
• Service providers that run the app for us: Cloudflare (hosting and database), Apple, Google and Mozilla (phone alerts).
• When the law requires it.

Kids

Team Ready Sports is used by parents and coaches. Kids don’t sign in. We only store the kid names a parent or coach types in, and we ask for first name and last initial.

Deleting your data

Family: open your team, tap My duties, scroll to My kids, tap Delete my family’s data, and confirm twice. This deletes your family name, kids, RSVPs, sign-ups, ride requests, messages, email and alert settings for that team. Payments the coach recorded stay in the team’s money records as “Deleted family”.

Every team at once: open All teams, scroll to the bottom, tap Delete all my data on this phone, and type DELETE. This does the same delete on every team your family joined from this phone.

Coach: open the team, tap Coach, open Archive, clear or delete, tap Delete this team, confirm, and type the team name. This permanently erases the team’s families, kids, emails, schedule, sign-ups, messages, alerts, money and payment records, and all links. We keep only a blank record that the team existed (no names or contact info) so plan limits stay accurate. Archive is different: it hides the team and makes it read-only but keeps everything.

Anything else: email [email protected] and we’ll delete it within 30 days.

How long we keep it

Team info stays while the team is active. Coaches can archive or clear a season. Deleted family data is removed right away; backups roll off within 30 days.
